The Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) team is pleased to share
that the Query QIPs reports in
QIP Navigator
have been updated for the 2026/2027 submission cycle and are now available!
Query QIPs is a searchable reporting tool that allows
organizations to explore and compare submitted QIPs across sectors. Users can
search by indicator or keyword across Workplans, Progress Reports and
Narratives, as well as export and share their results for further analysis and
planning.
Available query options include:
- Workplan Indicator Queries (Simplified and Detailed)
- Progress Report Indicator Queries
- Narrative, Workplan and Progress Report Text Queries
These reports can support a range of quality improvement
activities, including:
- Identifying organizations working on similar quality
priorities
- Exploring change ideas and improvement strategies used
across the province
- Benchmarking current and target performance
- Informing regional collaboration and QI planning
- Supporting environmental scans and leadership reporting
For example, users can:
- Search for organizations working on emergency department
wait times or patient experience
- Compare targets and current performance for a specific
indicator across sectors
- Review narrative themes related to equity, access or
transitions in care
- Export results to support local planning discussions or
presentations
