We are excited to share with you this new Quality Standards Webinar Library, where providers will be able to locate recordings of webinars, resources and tools related to many of the quality standards. These webinars share what works and what doesn’t from peers in the field, so we can increase chances of reducing variation and improving outcomes for all patients.
As many of you may know, the Quality Standards program was launched in October 2016. Quality standards are sets of 5-15 statements outlining what high quality care looks like for a certain health care issue developed in collaboration with patients, clinicians, caregivers, and organizations across the province.
While many organizations and providers may be offering the care described in the quality standard, the statements, related indicators, and implementation supports are designed to assist organizations to determine where there are opportunities to focus their improvement efforts. The goal for each webinar is to share with you recent, concrete examples of how clinicians, patients and their caregivers are using quality standards to improve care.
