New
National Target for Appropriate Antipsychotic Use
Earlier
this year, the
Appropriate Use Coalition established a national target of 15%
for the quality indicator Potentially Inappropriate Use of Antipsychotics in
LTC, along with a 15% annual improvement goal for homes below that target. This
national target aims to reduce variation and promote consistent, evidence informed
care across LTC settings in Canada.
