Patients over the age of 18 with major depressive disorder (MDD) who are seen at the four Community Mental Health Programs are not being assessed on the basis of severity and the time frame from assessment to treatment is not being tracked.
The aim of this IDEAS project was by March 1st, 2018, 90% of MDD patients with a PHQ-9 score ≥ 20 (high level of severity) at the time of their assessment will be offered a treatment intervention within 7 days of their assessment.
