This session will introduce Ontario Health’s recently released Hypertension quality standard and highlight important opportunities to improve care for people with hypertension in Ontario.
At the conclusion of the webinar, participants will be able to:
- Better understand what Ontario Health Quality Standards are, how and why they are developed, and where to access them.
- Recognize the seven key areas for improvement for hypertension care in Ontario.
- Access essential tools and resources to empower clinicians, patients and care partners to better manage hypertension.
- Identify opportunities to implement the Hypertension quality standard to improve care for people with a hypertension diagnosis or at risk of developing hypertension.
