The Excellence through Quality Improvement Project (E-QIP) is pleased to announce we are currently accepting applications for our next cohort of Quality Improvement Project Coaching!
This FREE, tailored QI coaching support is available to Ontario-based mental health and addiction (MHA) organizations seeking to use data to identify opportunities for improvement within their mental health & addiction services, improve health outcomes and enhance client, staff and family satisfaction. Quality Improvement Project Coaching is our most intensive QI and data support offering.
Cohorts of project coaching support take place from September-June each year.
Applications will be accepted until June 28, 2024.

What to expect when participating in Quality Improvement Project Coaching:
During the approximately 10 month coaching period, selected project teams will work with a dedicated E-QIP coach to who will support you in identifying a potential QI issue, develop measures to understand your gains, generate and test change ideas and learn methods and tools to sustain your QI gains and spread your improvements! Project teams will meet as a large group monthly to share their progress and learn foundational QI and data skills to assist them with their project, in accordance with the Model for Improvement.

- Dedicated QI and data coaching support for your project team to improve with the goal to enhance staff and service-user experiences and health outcomes
- Training on QI methodology and tools based on the Model for Improvement and sustainability planning to “hold your gains”
- Support from subject matter experts on system and organizational priorities to guide your improvement projects
- Guidance on using an annual QI planning cycle to manage your improvement efforts
- Engagement with a community of organizations who are working on the same QI planning cycle and with the same tools
- Opportunities to share your learnings, learn from others and benefit from the knowledge and experiences of peer organizations
