Participants will learn about the different data sources available to monitor and track their progress towards reducing hospital-acquired delirium and will have the opportunity to hear lessons learned from hospital teams who will share some practical tips and tools in initiating and sustaining their local data collection process.
After active engagement in this Learning Session, participants will be able to:
- Recognize that measurement is essential to achieving their aim of reducing hospital-acquired delirium
- Acknowledge that the current data for delirium incidence can be difficult to navigate
- Identify sources of data for data collection
- Design a data collection plan to understand prescribing patterns
- Develop a measurement plan to inform if the changes tested are leading to improvements
We look forward to seeing everyone on June 27th as we all continue to work together towards improving patient experiences and reducing hospital-acquired delirium.
