With P4R funding model staff has been focused on flow metric’s,GGH ED was struggling to provide effective communication to our patients to meet their needs for information about their care and visit. This is a problem because staff have a culture whereby they don’t perceive that they have the time to communicate effectively with their patients and lack the knowledge and confidence to do so.
