This community of practice (CoP) is for Ontario Health’s Telemedicine Network who are working on, and supporting, the implementation of Telemedicine, to improve accessible and equitable care for patients residing in Ontario.

It also brings together Provincial and Regional Virtual Care Leads, OHT Representatives and on occasion Virtual Care Subject Matter Experts and Interest-holders.

The goal of this CoP is to knowledge share, exchange ideas, define and refine best practices, and contribute to the adoption - and advancement - of the clinically appropriate use of virtual care through Telemedicine.

The CoP will be facilitated through regular virtual meetings and this online group space.

CoP members will gain access to:
• Tools, resources, and guidance on best practices
• Subject matter experts in the field
• Ongoing program and product updates – including data reports

CoP members will be able to network, contribute their learnings, and problem-solve together to in support of improving and advancing virtual-based patient care.

The CoP is co-facilitated by Sarah Cairns Lead, Patient Access Network & Virtual Care, Ontario Health and Jeff Rocca, Senior Specialist, Knowledge Translation and Exchange, Ontario Health.
