Join us on November 28 at 12pm for our next Quality Rounds session “Digital Health Initiatives: Enhanced Patient Navigation and Optimizing the Virtual Care Experience”.
The session will be focused on digital health initiatives and their impact on clinicians and patients. Learn more about Health811 and other digitally enabled services and virtual care modalities while earning continuing professional development (CPD) credits.
After more than two decades of operation, Telehealth Ontario ceased its operations in April 2022 to make room for a new and digitally enabled service, Health811. Learn more about the vision for the service, its approach to triaging service users requesting health advice and how the Health811 team is using digital health tools to support people across Ontario to access health resources whenever and wherever they need it.
Discover how Ontario Health’s Clinically Appropriate Use of Virtual Care guidance is supporting clinicians in the delivery of virtual health care and decision-making processes related to virtual care modalities. Aligned to Ontario Health Quality Standards, the guidance and its companion tools were informed by expert panels, comprised of clinicians, patient advocates and people with lived experience.
