This webinar is part of the Supporting QI webinar series delivered by the Excellence through Quality Improvement Project (E-QIP), an 18- month partnership project between Canadian Mental Health Assoc. Ontario, Addictions and Mental Health Ontario and Health Quality Ontario.
This webinar will focus on Sustaining and Spreading Success. Learning objectives include:
• To understand the factors that need to be considered for sustainability of quality improvement projects
• To identify action More...items to relative to sustaining your QI work
• To share some evidence informed tools to further support sustainability
E-QIP is pleased to be joined by Alice Strachan who will be drawing upon her vast experience to deliver this session. Alice is a Quality Improvement Advisor at Health Quality Ontario supporting the IDEAS program full time. Prior to the formation of HQO, Alice was an Advisor for the Quality Improvement and Innovation Partnership (QIIP) where she focused on quality improvement in primary care, specially access. Based in Georgetown, Ontario she is a kinesiologist (BSc University of Waterloo) by designation and is also certified as a Professional Facilitator by the International Association of Facilitators. Alice is a Certified Improvement Advisor from IHI having completed their 18 month program in 2011. She also holds a certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from York University. Prior to becoming a Quality Improvement Advisor, Alice was a private consultant who provided strategic planning and organizational development support to not for profit organizations across North America. She also has experience in designing and leading both communication and customer service workshops. Alice recently completed her LEAN/Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
